Reindeer Games.” The network announced this festive installment during the season 25 finale of “Big Brother” on November 9, adding an exciting twist to the beloved reality series.
The lore of the show set the stage for this holiday-themed spinoff. Houseguests Frankie Grande, Britney Haynes, and Danielle Reyes inadvertently unraveled the ‘Big Brother’ multiverse during an attempt to seal it off, resulting in the creation of the BB Holiday Universe. This amusing mishap launched the premise for the holiday series, “Big Brother Reindeer Games.”
Scheduled for its premiere on the CBS Television Network on December 11, the special will also be available for streaming on Paramount+.
In this six-episode special, nine former houseguests will partake in the ‘Reindeer Games,’ a sequence of holiday-themed contests. A departure from the original show, these games will introduce unique variations.
Notably, players won’t reside within the house, there won’t be eliminations through voting, no regular host will preside, and live shows and feeds won’t be part of the program.
Each episode will feature three competitions culminating in a “Santa’s Showdown,” determining the ousted player. The climax will spotlight four finalists competing for the grand prize of $100,000.
Revisiting the series as “Elves” will be former houseguests Derek Xiao from Season 23, Tiffany Mitchell from Season 23, and Jordan Lloyd from Season 11. Although the full roster of participants remains undisclosed, one player from the most recent season is confirmed to participate.
