Despite only being the narrator for Bigg Boss, providing task details and timing information to the audience, Vijay Vikram Singh became an unintended target of fury. In December 2024, he posted a video clarifying his role, stating that he had no involvement with the voice speaking to the contestants and asking viewers to refrain from sending him hateful messages. He said, “Please stop abusing me in the comments section and messages.” He made it clear that he wasn’t responsible for any decisions made on the show.
The controversy erupted when Rajat Dalal, a popular contestant, was eliminated in third place during the finale. His fans expressed their outrage, accusing the show’s creators of rigging the outcome. This dissatisfaction quickly turned into personal attacks on Vijay, who was mistakenly blamed for Dalal’s eviction. Some fans, not understanding his position, went as far as to threaten his family, even posting chilling messages aimed at him. In an effort to protect his privacy, Vijay disabled comments on his social media posts.
