Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav’s father passes away in Delhi
Rajpal Yadav's father, Naurang Yadav, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, after being hospitalised at AIIMS, Delhi. Naurang had been receiving treatment for an illness and had been admitted to the hospital after experiencing health issues for several days. Rajpal, who was in Thailand for a film shoot, immediately cut short his schedule and travelled back to Delhi to be with his family during this difficult time.

The actor has not released an official statement regarding his father's passing. However, Rajpal has frequently spoken about his deep bond with his father. In 2018, the actor shared a touching post on social media, acknowledging his father as the «biggest driving force» in his life. He expressed his gratitude, saying that without his father’s belief in him, he wouldn’t have achieved his success.
Following the news of his father’s death, fans flocked to social media to express their condolences. This tragic event comes shortly after reports surfaced about Rajpal receiving death threats from Pakistan. Other celebrities, including comedian Kapil Sharma, choreographer Remo D'Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra, were also reportedly targeted. In response, the police registered an FIR.
