Justin Baldoni sues the New York Times for $250 million because of the Blake Lively story. Baldoni charged the Times with promissory fraud and implied-in-fact contract violation in the 87-page complaint that Variety was able to obtain. WME dropped him as a client hours after the 4,000-word article, "‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine," was published because of his harsh response to it.
