Indian markets are likely to trade lower on Tuesday tracking muted global cues. Benchmark indices closed lower in the previous trading session.
Sectorally, buying was seen in FMCG, IT, telecom and healthcare stocks while selling was seen in auto, capital goods, metal and realty stocks on Monday.
Stocks that hit fresh highs include names like Bajaj Holdings which was up more than 11%, Lloyds Metals was up nearly 3%, and Laurus Labs closed with flat but with a positive bias on Monday.
