From the introduction of onboard Wi-Fi and a wireless entertainment system to bespoke amenity kits and refurbished aircraft interiors, the airline has said that is working to redefine comfort and convenience for its domestic and international travellers.
The airline on Wednesday highlighted five key inflight innovations that it has introduced.
1. Onboard Wi-Fi at 35,000 feet
Air India became the first Indian airline to introduce onboard Wi-Fi services to offer in-flight internet on domestic flights. Available on select aircraft, including Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and Airbus A321neo, passengers can browse social media, catch up on work, or stay connected with loved ones. For an introductory period, this service is being offered free of charge.
