Currently available exclusively to members of the Maharaja Club, the airline’s loyalty program, eZ Booking allows users to book flights on the Air India website, airindia.com, using simple text or voice commands.
It Agentic AI technology to streamline the booking process, reducing it to a few steps and eliminating the need to navigate multiple screens, the Tata-owned airline said.
Designed to mimic the experience of interacting with a human travel agent, eZ Booking enables customers to input their travel preferences naturally, such as “Book the first flight from Delhi to Mumbai tomorrow” or “Find me a round trip from Chennai to Mumbai next week.”
eZ Booking builds on the success of Air India’s AI-driven chatbot, AI.g, launched in May 2023. The airline said it has also AI.g has handled over 7 million guest queries to date, with a 97% resolution rate.
