Jimin Reflects on His Military Life
According to Koreaboo, in the letter, Jimin began by reflecting on the time that has passed since he enlisted in December 2023. «I enlisted in December the year before last, and before I knew it, two years have already passed,» he wrote. «I’ve been serving in the military for about a year and two months now. Yes… time really does seem to flow differently here.»
As he adjusts to the disciplined life in the military, Jimin revealed that his daily routine is filled with training, work, and exercise. Despite the repetitiveness of his days, he shared that he is learning and growing, eagerly anticipating the day when he can reunite with his fans. «It’s not easy, but I’ve been learning and experiencing things, so I’m looking forward to the day when I can chat with you all about everything that’s happened here,» he said.
Late-Night Conversations with Jungkook
Jimin’s letter also provided an emotional update about the late-night conversations he shares with Jungkook. Both enlisted under the «Companion Soldiers» buddy system, which pairs close friends or relatives during their military service. «One thing that has changed, though, is that since the year turned, the conversations Jungkook and I have before going to bed have changed a lot,» Jimin shared.
