Christian Bale has transformed into Frankenstein’s monster. The new avatar is for director Maggie Gyllenhaal's upcoming film "The Bride". Gyllenhaal has shared first look images on Instagram. «The Bride» will be released in theatres in October, 2025.
Apart from Bale, the film's star cast includes Jessie Buckley, Penélope Cruz, Annette Bening, and Peter Sarsgaard, as per a report in Variety.
Set against the backdrop of 1930s Chicago, «The Bride» offers a fresh take on the classic Frankenstein narrative. In this intriguing twist, Buckley's character, a murdered young woman, is brought back to life, much to the surprise of her creators.
