Leeds on Thursday, November 30, marking the beginning of the holiday season. The iconic truck will be stationed at the White Rose Shopping Centre from 12pm to 8pm, treating locals to a day filled with holiday festivities.
This year's highlight is the introduction of the Truck Tour's new Snow Globe, creating a Winter Wonderland for families to enjoy. Visitors can engage in various games at the «Ho-Ho-Hoop hut» and stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including meals and recycled Christmas decorations.
The Coca-Cola Christmas choir will serenade the audience with a selection of classical melodies, adding to the joyous atmosphere.
Coca-Cola has teamed with Neighbourly, a charity that supports neighborhood groups and encourages acts of kindness, in the spirit of giving back. Attendees can contribute to the Neighbourly Foundation by donating online or using the QR code provided at the Truck Tour. In Leeds, the contributions will support the Rainbow Junktion Community Cafe and Foodshare.
The announcement follows Coca-Cola's release of the truck's dates and locations for the festive season, with Leeds being one of the confirmed stops.
Touted as «bigger, brighter, and more dazzling than ever before,» the Christmas truck tour will visit 17 locales this year, eight of which will be new additions over last year.
It is now necessary to have a ticket for individuals who want to attend the events in Belfast and Dublin, unlike prior years. The earnings from the €2 per person, four ticket maximum per person, tickets are donated to charitable organizations. But each ticket has a booking fee of €1.14, making the total price €3.14.
These events are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. or 6 p.m.
