Coldplay announces a 2nd live show in Ahmedabad: Check ticket prices
Music of the Spheres world tour will now include two performances in the city, offering more fans the chance to experience their iconic live act.
The first show, scheduled for January 25, 2025, at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium, saw an instant sellout as tickets went live, sparking a wave of demand across social media. In response to the overwhelming enthusiasm, Coldplay officially confirmed a second concert at the same venue on January 26, 2025.
Prior to this, the band had announced three performances in Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, 2025. Featuring frontman Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion, Coldplay last performed in India in 2016 at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
This highly anticipated tour marks the band's return to India after a nine-year hiatus, promising fans a spectacular experience filled with their unforgettable music and dynamic stage presence.
Coldplay Concert Demand At An All-Time High
Ever since the ticket sale went live at 12:00 pm on November 16, fans got frustrated at the long queues. Last month, ticket sales for Coldplay's three Mumbai concerts in January 2025 opened in two phases, but the overwhelming demand left millions of fans unable to secure tickets. Queue numbers on BookMyShow reportedly reached as high as 8 lakh.
