Recently, he’s been spotted in India, taking ferry rides to DY Patil Stadium, strolling through the streets of South Bombay with his partner, Dakota Johnson, and enjoying quality time with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar at the five-year anniversary of his foundation.

Martin, along with Coldplay bandmates Guy Berryman, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland, and manager Phil Harvey, has developed a deep connection with India. After their successful Mumbai performance, the band headed to Ahmedabad for back-to-back concerts on January 25 and 26, 2025.
During their final performance in Ahmedabad, Martin greeted the crowd saying, “Happy Republic Day, India!” as they celebrated in the massive Narendra Modi Stadium. Fans were mesmerized by the atmosphere as lights filled the stadium during the band’s performance of «Vande Mataram». Martin performed some of Coldplay's biggest hits, including «High Power», «Adventure of a Lifetime», and «Paradise».
