As Coldplay wrapped up their India tour, Chris humorously stated that the band was originally from India, with each member belonging to a different state. Addressing the crowd, he pointed out that while their bassist, Guy Berryman, might appear Scottish, he was actually from Tamil Nadu. He then introduced their drummer, Will Champion, as a proud Gujarati from Ahmedabad, describing him as the glue that holds the band together. Chris, playing along with the joke, declared himself as a native of Telangana.
