Arvind Kejriwal has announced that schools in Delhi will be closed on July 10 due to the continuous heavy rainfall experienced in the national capital. The decision comes as a response to the significant downpour witnessed since July 8.
Delhi, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), received a staggering 153 mm of rain within a 24-hour period ending at 8:30 am on July 9. This rainfall measurement stands as the highest recorded for a single day in July since 1982.
