Delhi University's commerce department has recently unveiled a new Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, specifically targeting Business Analytics with an emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. As per a ToI report, the launch has sparked immense interest, garnering over 600 applications for the limited 60 seats available. Yogesh Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, told ToI: «For our nation to progress and become developed, our per capita income needs to increase six fold from its current state.
To achieve this, we require a sustained 9 per cent growth rate over the next 25 years. This ambitious goal is only attainable through innovative business minds. Start-ups are now an undeniable reality, with an impressive count of 120 unicorns and over 1 million start-ups.
