Destiny 2's Solstice 2024 event has begun, offering players new weapons, armor sets, and rewards. The event will run for three weeks, giving players ample time to collect exclusive items and complete triumphs.

Event Duration and Timing

Solstice 2024 started on August 6, 2024. The event went live at 5 PM GMT/10 AM PT/1 PM ET. Players can farm all rewards from the first day as there is no time-gating. The event will end on August 27, 2024. Players have three weeks to farm rewards and collect desired items.

Weapons

This year's Solstice features four exclusive weapons. Three are reissued guns from past events, and one is entirely new. These weapons are Compass Rose (Solar Shotgun), Crowning Duologue (Strand Rocket Launcher), Fortunate Star (Void Bow) and Something New (Stasis Hand Cannon).

Armor Sets

Solstice 2024 introduces three new armor sets. Each class—Hunter, Titan, and Warlock—has its own set. Players can earn these through Daily Bounties from Eva Levante.

To earn armor in the game, players need to complete Daily Bounties, which reward them with Armor Alloys. Each piece of armor requires 100 Armor Alloys. The armor pieces are ornaments, which means they allow for the transmog of any existing armor. In addition to earning armor, players have the option to purchase premium armor sets. These sets can be bought for 1,500 Silver or 6,000 Bright Dust. Like the earned armor pieces, these ornaments can be used to transmog any existing non-Exotic armor.
