Riot Games is introducing a new PvE mode in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) called Tocker’s Trials. This follows the recent release of the Swarm mode in League of Legends. Here’s what you need to know about Tocker’s Trials.
The new PvE mode, Tocker’s Trials, will be available in Teamfight Tactics from August 27, 2024, until September 24, 2024. Before the official release, players can access the mode on the Public Beta Environment (PBE) starting August 13, 2024. This will give players a chance to experience the mode ahead of time and provide feedback to Riot Games.
Tocker’s Trials will use the current set of champions and augments from Magic n’ Mayhem. The gameplay resembles a typical Teamfight Tactics match but with a focus on PvE elements. Players will earn gold and points with each turn against computer-controlled opponents. Unlike regular TFT matches, charms will not be included in Tocker’s Trials.

The mode consists of 30 rounds, during which players must defeat six bosses to win. Players are given three lives, meaning they can lose three times before failing the trials. Instead of the traditional health bar used in TFT, the lives system will determine success or failure. Points will be awarded after each round, and these will accumulate throughout the 30 rounds, allowing players to display their performance.
