Dexter Prequel Show's Plot
The series, «Dexter: Original Sin,» is set in 1991 Miami. It follows young Dexter Morgan, played by Patrick Gibson. Dexter transitions from student to avenging serial killer. He struggles with his bloodthirsty urges. With the help of his father, Harry, played by Christian Slater, Dexter adopts a Code. This Code helps him target and kill people who deserve to be eliminated without attracting law enforcement attention. Dexter starts a forensics internship at Miami Metro Police Department. This makes it challenging for him to keep his dark urges in check.
