'The Sandman' is adding new actors for Season 2. Ruairi O’Connor will play Orpheus, the son of Dream. Orpheus is a poet, musician, and oracle. His mother is Calliope, a muse seen in Episode 111. Orpheus’s character faces tragedy, revealing the true nature of love.

Characters from 'Season of Mists'

Season 2 will also feature characters from the 'Season of Mists' storyline. These characters are significant in the 'The Sandman' graphic novels.

Characters from 'Brief Lives'
