Dexter Prequel and sequel: Release window, plot and cast revealed
The actor, in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, offered a glimpse into what fans can expect from these new installments, highlighting the connection between the prequel and the forthcoming sequel.
Hall expressed his enthusiasm about the new scripts, stating, «The scripts they've executed are fantastic. I can't wait, like as a fan, to watch it, and as an actor, to spend time seeing real footage of things that I've sort of tried to imagine for myself when I imagine what Dexter's early days [were like], now I'm going to have this technicolor version of his memories to refer to. And I think it will help inform my experience of whatever comes next in the other series”, as quoted in a report by Movieweb.
Exploring Dexter's Early Years
Dexter: Original Sin is set to transport viewers back to Miami in 1991, focusing on a younger Dexter Morgan as he begins his transformation into the vengeful killer that audiences have come to know.
Patrick Gibson, known for his work in The OA, will step into the shoes of the younger Dexter, while Hall will narrate the character's inner thoughts, providing a unique perspective on the formation of Dexter’s twisted moral code.
