DJ operator shot dead in Jharkhand's Ranchi for not serving alcohol. Chilling video surfaces
Ranchi. The video of the murder has surfaced and is now circulating widely on the internet.
The CCTV footage shows a man wearing shorts, with his face covered and holding a rifle, entering the bar. He then shoots the DJ operator in the chest from point blank range. According to the police, the accused fled the scene after the incident.
The accused, along with four others, reached the bar at approximately 1 pm. According to the police, he did not receive any alcohol because the bar was closed.
«Yesterday at around 10:30 pm, a scuffle broke out between two groups. We promptly notified the police, and they arrested one individual. After closing the bar, we returned home, while one of our staff members, DJ Sandeep, remained at the bar. Later I got a call that one of our staff had been shot… We hope that the accused will be arrested soon,» said bar operator Vishal Singh.
Hatia DSP Pramod Mishra said that the accused has been identified, and adding to that he revealed, «We are searching for him. He has criminal record and has been to jail earlier as well. We are investigating the matter. He is a suspicious person. The deceased is a resident of Chapra.»
The deceased was identified as Sandip Pramanik. He was a resident of West Bengal.
The police are currently reviewing the CCTV footage of the incident. An investigation is currently in progress. Further information regarding the matter is still pending.
