earphones in his stomach.
Moga's Medicity Hospital admitted a patient who was complaining of nausea for days, with medicine unable to fix the problem, doctors decided to scan his stomach, finding a myriad of items inside the cavity.
Doctors found earphones, lockets, a screw and even rakhis inside his stomach, which they had to extract during a three hour long operation.
All in all, doctors extracted around 100 items from the man's stomach including washers, nuts and bolts, wires, rakhis, lockets, buttons, wrappers and a safety pin.
According to the hospital's director, Dr. Ajmer Kalra, this was the first such case encountered by him and the man had been suffering from stomach problems for two years.
Despite the operation, the man's condition remains unstable, according to reports, with the long-term effects of having foreign objects in his body slowly being realised.
The man's family were unaware of how he ingested the items and when.
According to reports, he was suffering from mental illnesses. They said he complained of stomach ache and was unable to sleep, days before he was hospitalised.
