Delhi University will release the first undergraduate merit allocation list today, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. This list will determine the seat allocation for students based on their positions in the merit list. Furthermore, St.
Stephen's College has announced that the interviews for Christian minority students will also begin on August 1. The merit scores will be calculated using the normalised CUET scores provided by the National Testing Agency. Once the allocation list is declared, candidates must log in to their Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) dashboard to accept the allocated seat if offered.
The deadline for accepting the seat is 5 pm on August 4. In case a candidate is offered multiple seats in a particular round, they must accept and take admission in only one allocated seat. Failure to take any action will result in non-acceptance, leading to the forfeiture of the provisionally allocated seat, making the candidate ineligible for subsequent rounds of CSAS(UG)-2023.
Once a candidate accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the concerned college will verify their eligibility and uploaded documents online. The verification process must be completed by August 5. The last date for fee payment is August 6 (5 pm).
In case of failure to pay the admission fee within the stipulated time, the provisionally allocated seat will be canceled, and the candidate will not be considered for any subsequent allocation rounds in the current year. If an application is rejected during the online verification, the college will provide a reason for the rejection. Additionally, if a college raises any queries during the online approval process, the candidate must respond online through the dashboard within the given time frame.
