ED, CBI only for opposition ruled states: Mahua Moitra attacks BJP over Badlapur sexual assault case
Mahua Moitra launched an attack on BJP by claiming that ED and CBI are only for opposition and opposition ruled states.
The jibe is in connection to the recent Kolkata rape-murder trajedy that sent shockwaves across the nation. In the early stages, Calcutta High Court had transferred the investigation to federal probe agency, CBI from Kolkata police.

Further continunig her attack, the TMP MP said «RG Kar case had videographed autopsy and @KolkataPolice arrested accused within hours. In Maharashtra police refused to file FIR for days. This is the real Non Democratic Alliance.»
Badlapur sexual assualt case:
Earlier, the Maharashtra government on Tuesday ordered the suspension of three police officials, including a senior police inspector, for alleged dereliction of duty in probing the sexual abuse of two girls at a school in Badlapur amid massive protests. «The orders of immediate suspension of the senior police inspector, assistant sub-inspector and head constable attached to Badlapur police station for the dereliction of duty have been issued,» Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis posted on X.
The state government has already ordered the setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT)
