Just a few days ago, Sheeran became an internet sensation when he performed Urvashi Urvashi, the iconic song from Kadhalan (known as Premikudu in Telugu), alongside the legendary composer A.R. Rahman. Now, during his latest concert in Bengaluru, he surprised the audience by singing Chuttamalle—his first-ever Telugu performance.
The experience was further elevated when renowned Indian playback singer Shilpa Rao joined him on stage. Their duet captivated the enthusiastic crowd, who sang along in unison, making it a truly electrifying moment. The collaboration quickly spread across social media platforms, with fans expressing admiration for Sheeran’s effort to embrace Indian music and culture. He shared a video of himself practicing the Telugu lyrics, with Shilpa Rao acting as his pronunciation coach. Deeply impressed by her vocal talent, he wrote, “I’ve been obsessed with @shilparao’s voice for a while now.
