Elon Musk has made a bold statement expressing his willingness to address the growing cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the US government. In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Tesla and SpaceX CEO claimed that he could “fix” the government’s Information Technology (IT) department, calling the task “harder than getting a rocket to orbit.” His comments were in response to a recent cyberattack on the US Treasury Department by Chinese hackers.

Musk responded to this post, writing, “My goal is to fix government IT! This is harder than getting a rocket to orbit. Actually,” further emphasising the complexity of the challenge.
