Responding to a reporter who cited unnamed sources about his resignation, Ramaswamy acknowledged his exit while reiterating his confidence in the team led by Elon Musk. The Republican is speculated to run for Ohio Governor's office, a move which bars him from being a part of DOGE.
“It was my honor to help support the creation of DOGE. I’m confident that Elon & team will succeed in streamlining government. I’ll have more to say very soon about my future plans in Ohio. Most importantly, we’re all-in to help President Trump make America great again!” Ramaswamy wrote in his post.
The announcement comes as DOGE is facing mounting criticism and legal challenges over its lack of transparency and potential overreach in slashing federal programs and spending.
