During this week’s inauguration festivities, Musk was captured raising his arm in a manner that some interpreted as resembling a Nazi salute. The gesture quickly went viral, with online criticism pouring in from all corners. Fineman, who is Jewish, didn’t hold back her thoughts, sharing on Instagram, “Remember when I got in trouble for calling out Mr. Nazi salute? Ya, no regrets.”
The incident even drew attention from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which labeled the gesture “an awkward move” but stopped short of definitively linking it to Nazi symbolism. Meanwhile, Musk himself dismissed the accusations with sarcasm, posting puns like, “His pronouns would’ve been He/Himmler!” on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
