25-year-old Marko Elez was deployed by DOGE to scrutinise federal spendings, quit after The Wall Street Journal asked the White House about his connection to the deleted social media account, said the report. “Just for the record, I was racist before it was cool,” the account posted in July, according to the WSJ’s review of archived posts.
