Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze strongly criticized the suspension, calling it an «anti-Georgian step.» The decision coincides with ongoing mass protests in Georgia, now in their 19th day, sparked by the government’s announcement to suspend EU membership talks until 2028.
