exit polls for five state elections have come out as a mixed bag for political parties.
The BJP has an edge in Madhya Pradesh as per the surveys of voters leaving polling stations, while the Congress has an advantage in Chhattisgarh and Telangana. The exit polls predict a cliffhanger contest in Rajasthan between the BJP and the Congress.
In Mizoram, the pollsters are largely divided over numbers.
In MP, exit polls by India Today-Axis My India, News 24-Chanakya and India TV-CNX predict a massive victory for the BJP.
As per India Today-Axis My India, BJP is likely to get 140-162 seats in the 230-member assembly, while the Congress may get restricted to 68-90 seats. News 24-Chanakya predicts 151 seats for BJP and 74 for Congress (both with an error margin of 12).
As per India TV-CNX, 140-159 seats may go to BJP, while Congress could get 70-89.

Pollsters divided over Mizoram
According to ABP News-C Voter, Times Now-ETG and TV9-Polstrat surveys, the Congress has a small edge over the BJP in MP. As per ABP News-C Voter, the Congress is likely to get 113-137 seats, against 88-112 for the BJP. The Times Now-ETG exit poll predicts 109-125 seats for the Congress and 105-117 for the BJP. TV9-Polstrat forecasts the Congress to get 111-121 seats, compared with 106-116 for the BJP.
In Telangana, most of the pollsters are predicting an advantage for Congress over the ruling BRS, with some predicting no one to get a clear majority
