The new entrants to the Alpha Manager list include Jeroen Brand, manager of the Goldman Sachs Europe Sustainable Equity fund; James Bullock, manager of the Lindsell Train Global Equity fund; Daniel Ivascyn, manager of the Pimco GIS Diversified Income fund; William Lam, manager of the Invesco Asian Equity fund; Evan Ouellette, manager of the Wellington Opportunistic EM Debt fund; Masaki Taketsume, manager of the Schroder Tokyo fund; and Nicolas Trindade, manager of the AXA World Funds Global Strategic Bonds fund.
Additionally, four managers have returned to the Alpha list, after having been featured previously. They are Fidelity's Raymond Ma, Schroders' King Fuei Lee, Vermeer's Tim Gregory and Hartwood's David Absolon.
FE also noted several managers on the list have been consistent long-term recipients of the rating over 15 years.
Among the ten such managers are Jupiter's John Chatfeild-Roberts and Daniel Nickols; Columbia Threadneedle's David Dudding; Liontrust's Julian Fosh; Fidelity's Leigh Himsworth and Jeremy Podger; FSSA's Martin Lau; Slater Investments' Mark Slater, Rathbones' James Thomson; and M&G's Richard Woolnough.
In terms of houses, Fidelity kept its top spot on the list of Alpha managers, with ten in its ranks. JP Morgan followed with nine, while Baillie Gifford, Schroders and Wellington tied for third place with seven Alpha managers.
