Elon Musk has been pivotal in the overall election campaign of Donald Trump in the US Presidential polls, where the billionaire candidate emerged victorious against a tricky opponent, Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party. Right after the epic win by Trump, the President-elect announced that he will be forming a separate federal department which would focus on tackling excess government spends, and plan on curbing them. Trump also said that Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will beheading this department, known as the 'DOGE: Department of Government Efficiency'.
Ever since this announcement, Musk's activities and statements round political circles has grown increasingly, and he has even broadly stated that he would be firing some federal employees when Trump takes over, and some of the names in his list is definitely a surprise for many. Several federal employees have also revealed that they are scared of losing their jobs when Trump takes over, as he has also threatened earlier about downsizing federal departments.
