Ivan Nikolov, an experienced convertible bond specialist, will take up the role from 1 January 2024. He will manage Fisch AM's five-strong convertible bond team with Thomas Fischli Rutz. The team runs five strategies across the entire convertible bond risk spectrum.

Nikolov was previously senior portfolio manager at NN Investment Partners in London, where he co-managed convertible bond portfolios in excess of $2bn.
Before then, for four years he was a convertible bond portfolio manager at Aberdeen Asset Management. He has also held positions as a convertible bond trader at a hedge fund and at a securities broker.
