NDRF teams are working hard to save lives in flood-affected areas.» Pritam isn't the only one.
According to official records, a total of 5,974 animals, ranging from cattle to dogs, rabbits, roosters, guinea pigs, and ducks, have been successfully rescued from the flood-affected regions. The unwavering dedication and bravery displayed by the NDRF, along with the collective efforts of local authorities, have undoubtedly saved numerous lives, both human and animal alike. Meanwhile, the flood situation remains grim in many parts of the country, which are currently experiencing waterlogging due to unprecedented rains. In the national capital, Delhi and its adjoining areas, officials are asking villages situated along the banks of the Yamuna River and nearby areas to evacuate. Water levels are projected to rise further in the upcoming days, causing significant damage.
