As Frozen 3 gears up for production, fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the beloved Disney franchise.

Frozen 3 Release Date

Disney has confirmed that Frozen 3 is slated for a 2026 release. This announcement came from Disney CEO Bob Iger during a company earnings call on February 8, 2024. The film was officially announced in February 2023, but details on the exact timing of its release remain sparse.

With a six-year gap between the releases of Frozen and Frozen 2, fans should brace for a similar wait for the third installment.

The film is currently in production, and Jennifer Lee, who co-directed the first two movies, has expressed enthusiasm about the progress. Although she will not be directing Frozen 3, Lee remains involved in the project and is excited about the direction it is taking. “I’m so excited. I don’t know what I’m doing on it yet. I might be doing nothing,” she shared in October 2023, as mentioned in a report by Digital Spy. As per media reports, Frozen 3 is expected to release in 2026.
