Since the Cillian Murphy-Emily Blunt starrer will be the only release in IMAX this week, major metropolitan cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Chennai are ruling the roost when it comes to ticket sales on the platform. A staggering 42 per cent of tickets purchased on BookMyShow have been for immersive cinematic formats such as the IMAX as cinephiles from the aforementioned regions have been aiming to bag the best cinematic experience they can afford. On the other hand, Barbie, the feel-good comedy-drama about the iconic doll, that has been the first BFF of pretty much every girl around the globe has also generated quite an excitement in India. According to Saxena, Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie's film has sold an impressive 54,000 tickets on the ticket-selling portal.
