Elon Musk took to his own social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to mock Microsoft over the recent IT outage caused on Friday which led to complete chaos around the world with multiple entities including flights, super markets, hospitals and financial services being impacted.
The IT outage has now been fixed but it did attract the attention of the Tesla Founder who also owns other companies including Space X and X which is a social networking site. The two posts on X went viral with many social media users commenting and re-sharing these tweets. Crowd Strike which is the cyber-security firm which dealt with the issue witnessed a fall in its stock price in the US.
Musk took to X and re-tweeted a post of his from October 2021 which read Macrohard >Microsoft. This random post went viral immediately after being tweeted. Many users called on Musk to build something better and while another said that “Elon was right”.

In a separate post, Musk shared a photo which said that while everything else is down, this platform (referring to X) was up and running. The photo depicted a scene with compete chaos everywhere with one individual relaxing in the background. The chaotic scenes carried the logo of Microsoft whereas the person relaxing can be seen sporting the logo of X. Musk shared it with a laughter emoticon.
