Musk is still devoted to Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology and hopes to see autonomous Tesla cars in the future. True unsupervised self-driving is still a ways off, though. As it is, Tesla's FSD is more akin to sophisticated cruise control and demands continuous driver attention. While totally unsupervised driving in passenger cars is still a ways off, Musk hinted that some degree of autonomy would be attained next year.

There have been delays in Tesla's humanoid robot, which was intended for hazardous or repetitive duties. Its original schedule called for production and release by 2025, however that has since changed.
