The cast includes Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Micaela Diamond, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Raven Goodwin and Travis Kelce. Vance plays Marshall Tryon, Manville is Nurse Redd, Chavez portrays Father Charlie and Goodwin plays Merritt Tryon.
The story centers on a small community disturbed by a series of gruesome crimes. Detective Lois Tryon, played by Nash-Betts, finds the crimes disturbingly personal. At home, she struggles with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term care, and her own inner issues. With few leads, she teams up with Sister Megan (Diamond), a nun and journalist. Sister Megan, despite her own troubled past, believes in humanity’s goodness. Together, they unravel clues leading to a dark and confusing mystery.
