Israeli drama series 'Fauda' can rejoice as it's been officially confirmed that the show will be returning for a fifth season.
As per the Jerusalem Post, Ilan Sigal, CEO of Israeli network Yes, announced this season renewal during the network's annual 'Bar Series' event, alongside the show's co-creator, Avi Issacharoff.
Details about the fifth season's plot and airdate remain under wraps. Israeli journalist Avi Issacharoff, who co-created the series alongside the show's star Lior Raz almost a decade ago, is set to return to pen the new season.
Lior Raz, who has garnered recognition for his role in both Israeli and U.S. projects, will be back as Doron, continuing to portray the iconic character that has become synonymous with the series.
Raz has worked in projects such as Michael Bay's '6 Underground' and 'Operation Finale' opposite Oscar Isaac.
