HoYoverse has announced the introduction of a new end-game content called Apocalyptic Shadow in Honkai: Star Rail, according to a Dexerto report. This mode will bring new challenges and rewards for players, adding to the already diverse end-game content lineup.
Apocalyptic Shadow: Release Date
Honkai: Star Rail's Apocalyptic Shadow is set to release in version 2.3. While the exact release date is unknown, it is expected to arrive towards the end of June 2024, following the game's usual 6-week update cycle. This new mode will pit Trailblazers against the Finality and more powerful versions of previously encountered foes, offering 720 Stellar Jades as rewards for successful clears.

A new Team Function optimization feature will be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail for Apocalyptic Shadow, Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction. This feature allows players to save teams beforehand and bring them into battle directly, streamlining the team selection process and enabling last-minute changes.
Friends’ Team Setup System
Additionally, a new system will allow players to view their friends' team setups for Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction. This feature, to be introduced in version 2.2, will later expand to include Relics, Light Cones, and stats, providing players with valuable insights and saving them time researching effective teams.
