Shane Gillis' series «Tires» is set to premiere on Netflix on May 23. Despite not yet debuting, the show has already been renewed for a second season. The second season is scheduled to release in 2025.
First Season
Gillis self-financed the first season of «Tires,» which consists of six episodes. Netflix acquired the series as part of a deal. This deal also includes another stand-up special by Gillis. The special will also debut in 2025.
Plot
«Tires» follows Will, played by Steven Gerben. Will is the nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain. He tries to turn his father's business around while dealing with his cousin Shane, played by Gillis. Shane is now an employee and constantly torments Will.
Cast and Crew
The cast of «Tires» includes Chris O'Connor, Kilah Fox, and Stavros Halkias. Andrew Schulz makes a guest appearance. Gillis co-created the series with Gerben and John McKeever. All three serve as executive producers, with McKeever also directing. Brandon James, Brian Stern, and Kenneth Slotnick executive produce for AGI Entertainment Media & Management. Becky Astphan is also an executive producer. Gillis and McKeever executive produce for Dad Sick Productions.
