Dwayne Johnson on Instagram. 'The Rock' took to Instagram and shared some images of himself at the sound booth while voicing for his role as Maui in Moana 2.
This is his reprisal role for Maui as he has also worked in the same role in the franchise's previously released film. 'Maui', Johnson's character is a super-strong and mystical demigod who guides Moana through her rollercoaster journey in the upcoming film, according to a ScreenRant report.
This upcoming Disney sequel has received a major update from star Dwayne Johnson. The film will see Auli’i Cravalho as Moana, along with Alan Tudyk as Hei Hei. Directed by David G. Derrick Jr., 'Moana 2' promises to be a total family entertainer and caters to the teenage audience in a very artistic way.

Johnson, in his Instagram post, wrote that it is an official wrap for the film and his work as Maui's voice is formally over. He posted a series of images of him voicing Maui. He also brought his young daughter to the studio during this session which must have been a total treat for her.
According to 'ScreenRant', it does not look like The Rock's work as Maui will come to an end with Moana 2. He is currently the only confirmed actor for the live-action Moana which is slated for a 2026 release.
