Duchy of Cornwall has published its annual report for the fiscal year 2023–2024. It contains details about the overall performance of the Duchy and Prince William's profits. The study states that Prince William made a substantial $30.4 million in earnings during the course of the year. According to Yahoo Entertainment, this was his first full fiscal year as the Duke of Cornwall following King Charles's coronation in September 2022.

Established by Edward III in 1337, the Duchy of Cornwall provides assistance for the public and private royal obligations of the Duke of Cornwall. About 129,604 acres of land make up the portfolio, which is valued at $1.4 billion. With William inheriting both the title and the portfolio after King Charles's coronation, this vast wealth base provides for the Duke's financial needs.
The Duchy of Cornwall reported an annual revenue surplus of £23.6 million, or $30.4 million, for the 2023–2024 fiscal year. This excess basically represents Prince William's salary. William willingly pays income taxes on that amount, according to the Duchy's website, even if the report did not reveal the precise tax contributions made throughout the year.William is also not aware of the capital gains of the Duchy.
