One of the top smartphone makers in China has ranked 2.8 million pre sales for its latest smartphone. The pre sale started just one day after the reservation began before people learned the price of the phone. The trifold smartphone of Huawei's Mate XT is all set to steal the spotlight in an event of China on Tuesday. On online selling platform Huawei is selling the smartphones based on two colours only. During the time of publication, nearly 3 million people have done registration, Business Insider reported.

After the company's event Apple is expected to launch few of its new product during the time of fall Glowtime event, such as iPhone 16. According to Huawei, the phone will start selling on September 20.On Tuesday's event the company will share more specific details about the phone including the price, and it can also display its new series of electric vehicle. The success of pre sale and time of launch is reflecting Huawei's ability to compete directly with Apple. Apple is loosing its significant market in China due to weak interests of the consumers. 17% of the Apple sells happened in China in the three months ending June 29.
