The first trailer for 'Hysteria!' introduces viewers to the town of Happy Hollow. The trailer begins with shots of the town, accompanied by Belinda Carlisle's song «Heaven Is a Place on Earth.» The scene shifts to Linda Campbell, played by Julie Bowen, who is enjoying the music on her Walkman while going about her daily routine. The peaceful moment is interrupted when something disturbs the energy current in her home. As she checks the microwave, Linda is confronted by a pair of demonic eyes, setting the tone for the horror that will unfold.
'Hysteria!' features a robust cast including Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Nikki Hahn, Garret Dillahunt, Kezii Curtis, Nolan North, Elijah Richardson, Milly Shapiro, Allison Scagliotti, and Jessica Treska.

The show is described as a «pop-horror thriller.» Happy Hollow is a seemingly perfect place to live, but the disappearance of a varsity quarterback raises fears of dark forces. The local high school’s heavy metal band uses the town's paranoia to boost their music's popularity. However, as supernatural events and crimes begin to occur, the band members find themselves in the center of the town's hysteria.
