In another workplace incident, techie dies of cardiac arrest in HCLTech's Nagpur office
HCLTech, Nitin Edwin Michael, passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest at the company’s Nagpur office, marking another incident around health concerns in a workplace.
The 40-year-old employee collapsed in the washroom around 7 pm on Friday and was found unresponsive by colleagues, who immediately rushed him to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Nagpur, PTI reported.
Unfortunately, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Police officials from Sonegaon station confirmed that a case of accidental death has been registered, and the body was sent for post-mortem.
Initial autopsy results suggest that Michael died of cardiac arrest, though investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are ongoing.
