In a viral video he said: Us rab nu manzur hoye, to hum mehnat karenge, raat din mehnat karenge, to ek din ayega to hindustan ko peeche an chodiya to mera naam Shehbaz Sahrif nhi. (If God wishes, we will work hard, we will toil day and night, then a day will come when I will leave India behind and my name will not be Shahbaz Sahrif).
Sharif emphasized his goal of making Pakistan self-sufficient by reducing dependence on foreign loans and enhancing its economic position globally. “We will make Pakistan a great nation and move ahead of India,” he said, underscoring his ambition to outpace the neighboring country.
He also claimed that inflation had dropped from 40% when he took office to just 2% today. However, no official data was cited to support this statement.
