Although his secret appointment has thus become a foregone conclusion even after his lack of experience and the absence of any formal positions in the current government.
Khameini, according to reports, is suffering from a serious illness, and in the case things end up being fatal for the Supreme eader, Mojtaba is reportedly in he line of succession from Tehran's end, so that there is due continuity of the government, and things don't shatter for the Iran's political condition. Moreover, with the current political tensions with Israel, it is all the more important for Iran that internal politics of the country stays strong and running.
